Owned and operated by Michael Dause, TreeTone Studios opened its doors in late 2021. Dause has had his head in speakers since he was 15, recording some of his first albums while in high school. Now in his late 20's, Dause decided it was finally time to put together a proper studio space that could accommodate not only his own projects, but his friends and fellow musicians in the greater Grand Rapids area. 

Dause is a multi-instrumentalist who has been a part of many different musical projects.  He toured as the drummer for indie folk band The Accidentals from 2014 to 2023, and is currently a member of the folk rock group Moss Manor.
